According to a report by Italian Gazzetta dello Sport, there is a new twist in the tale in the transfer saga involving Memphis Depay this summer. The 28-year-old forward had seemed likely to join Juventus, but Tottenham Hotspur might spoil the party after approaching Barcelona over a possible move. Memphis Depay joined Barcelona in a Bosman move last summer after leaving Lyon as a free agent at the end of the 2020/21 season. And the Dutch attacker hit the ground running immediately, leading the charge for Barcelona in the first half of the 2021/22 campaign, although he faltered in the UEFA Champions League like the rest of his teammates.

There are reports that Barcelona have offered Italian giant Juventus €90 million for Argentina sensation Paulo Dybala following his impressive performance this season at the club.

However, the enormous potential deal has been conclusively dismissed by the Serie A champions as they want the talented player for keeps.

Juventus will be coming up against a formidable looking Barcelona attack in the 2015 Champions League final.

They face an uphill task in order to win against the favourites. The Italian club have reached this stage of the competition against all the odds. The likes of Real Madrid and Bayern Munich were seen as the proper contenders for Barcelona, who have largely relied upon the front three of Luis Suarez, Neymar, and Lionel Messi.
