CHIELLINI HAPPY TO STAY AT JUVE

Italian international Giorgio Chiellini has stated is desire to stay at Juventus despite interest from Manchester United. Chiellini joined Juventus in the summer of 2005 and has since developed into an absolute key player at the Vechia Signora. He has made well over 100 league appearances for Juventus so far. Additionally, he has been capped at senior level for Italy.

He reportedly earns much less than the team's other top stars, but Juventus are in no hurry to offer Chiellini a new deal. Therefore, the highly rated centre back was thought to be considering a move away from the club. The player's agent has now downplayed any such rumours.

"We are quite happy about the interest of big clubs such as Real Madrid or perhaps Bayern Munich. However, Giorgio doesn't want to leave Juventus and is going nowhere for now,” said Davide Lippi to Tuttosport.
