JUVE WIN

Juventus made it to the next round of the Coppa Italia after defeating Catania by two goals. Goals either side of half-time from Milos Krasic and Simone Pepe proved enough to send Juve through at the Stadio Olimpico. Juve join Parma, Palermo and Inter Milan in the quarter-finals, with the remaining four last-16 ties to be played next week.

However, Juve's victory came at a cost as striker Luca Toni, who joined the club last week, suffered an injury early in the game.

After the match, a statement on the club's official website read: "Luca Toni was forced to leave the field on the 15th minute of the first half against Catania. The striker suffered a distortion to the right knee in the medial sector. Tomorrow he will undergo tests."

Juve may have to look elsewhere for some firepower, with David Silva and Landon Donovan linked to the club in recent weeks.
