A defeat in the game versus Cesena yesterday might have been curtains for the manager of AC Milan, Filippo Inzaghi, but, that did not happen to be the case.

It was a convincing victory for Milan there at their home ground which not only kept them in top 10 in the league table, but, also gave Inzaghi some time to try and save his job.

Juventus lost against Napoli in Super Cup

Despite dominating for much of the match, Juventus were unable to get a victory against Napoli in the latest Super Cup meeting between the two teams. Carlos Tevez has been in superb form this campaign and he scored two goals against Napoli.

Rodwell Believes Lack Of Play Led TO Being Dropped From England

The play maker of Sunderland FC, Jack Rodwell, believes that his lack of match appearances at his former club Manchester City was the main reason why he wasn’t selected in the England national squad for the FIFA World Cup 2014.
Rodwell had got the opportunity to play for the Three Lions for the first time at the senior level in 2011. He was an Everton player at that point of time and had been a regular there.

New AC Milan manager Filippo Inzaghi has revealed that he has taken a lot of advice from top managers like Carlo Ancelotti and Antonio Conte. Conte is thought to enjoy a great relationship with Inzaghi, who is one of the revered strikers in the history of Milan. After spending the last few seasons coaching the youth team, Inzaghi was recently appointed as head of the Milan team.
